Brad Sherman’s greatest professional achievement is his long-term leadership in the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the U.S. House of Representatives in October 2019, which, after decades of resistance largely due to Turkish pressure, was passed by a landslide vote of 405 to 11. This historic victory is not only of great importance to the Armenian-American community, but also a key step in combating genocide denial.
